Just-in-Time Training (JIT)
The response tasks for an animal health emergency can vary and involve a number of responders of different backgrounds. To ensure an effective and efficient response, proper training of responders for their assigned tasks is necessary.
Through funding from the Multi-State Partnership for Security in Agriculture, the CFSPH has developed Just-In-Time (JIT) training materials to help prepare responders for various aspects and tasks involved during an animal health emergency response.
The training materials include short (15-20 minute) PowerPoint (audio and "stand-alone" versions with speaker notes) and corresponding 1-2 page handouts for each of the JIT training components to allow for customization or face-to-face training by a Team Leader.
**Note: Audio and Video files are large and may take a few minutes to download.
