Disease Fast Facts

The Center for Food Security and Public Health has developed condensed (1-page) disease fact sheets, called Fast Facts, to provide the general public a brief overview of selected animal diseases, many of which are zoonotic (diseases of animals that may spread to humans). The materials were designed as handouts for clients, youth agriculture groups or other general public audiences. Each handout provides brief information about the disease, clinical signs seen in animals and humans when applicable, and basic prevention steps. More information on each of these diseases can be found in our Disease Factsheet area.
