Distance LearningCourses are offered through distance learning via Elluminate, Polycom (a camera system with live feeds over the Internet), fiber optic telecommunications, and/or web-based classes. Testing is conducted by proctors in Ames. Students spend 10 -15 days per year in Iowa City for orientation, summer courses, presenting their practicum, and other key meetings or seminars.
The CFSPH is not currently accepting applications for Adjunct Instructor positions (associated with the University of Iowa Master of Public Health Program). Should funding for these positions become available, application deadlines will be announced here and with an advertisement in JAVMA.
