The organizing committee welcomes abstracts for posters
from university, industry, and government scientists, and
graduate students related to the Symposium topics. These
are Microbial interactions in health and disease; Bacterial
attachment invasion, and colonization; Bacterial effects
on host cells; and Innate and adaptive resistance to pathogens.
The deadline for submission of poster abstracts is August
15, 2006. All accepted abstracts will be published in the
meeting proceedings
Abstract Instructions:
- Abstract forms are not provided
- The body of the abstract
(excluding title and authors(s)) must be 250 words or less
- Font should be Times Roman 12-pt
- Type the title first
then list the authors (all capital letters, with an asterisk(*)
for the person delivering the poster). Then list institutions
and short addresses
- Leave one blank line between the last
author/institution line and the text
- Abbreviations that
are generally understood are acceptable
- Underline or italicize
scientific names
- Email the abstract as a Word or WordPerfect
