The People of CFSPH

The CFSPH and IICAB share a staff of 8 veterinarians; other veterinarians and animal health experts assist with various CFSPH efforts. These veterinarians have also received either the MPH or PhD degrees. A design and technology staff of programmers, video production specialists and graphic designers assist with CFSPH projects.  Three administrative personnel support the efforts of the CFSPH and IICAB. CFSPH Supervisory Committee

The CFSPH Supervisory Committee meets once each semester to review CFSPH projects and provide input. 

CFSPH Members

CFSPH members are faculty who are working on projects related to the mission of food security and public health.  To apply to become a CFSPH member, send a brief statement describing current or planned projects related to food security and public health and a brief CV to Dr. James A. Roth.  Membership is limited to ISU faculty and scientists who are part of the National Centers for Animal Health in Ames Iowa.

The mission of the CFSPH is to increase national preparedness for accidental or intentional introduction of disease agents that threaten food production or public health.
