Dawne BuhrowAdministrative Specialist Mrs. Buhrow assists the Center Director with all aspects of budgeting, accounting and expenditure of funds. She ensures that all policies and procedures of Iowa State University and funding agencies are met. Mrs. Buhrow also coordinates and manages scientific conferences and international meetings.

Jane Galyon, MS, BSProgram Coordinator Mrs. Galyon received her BS in Psychology in 1982 and her MS in Journalism and Mass Communication in 1987 from ISU. She assists in coordinating Center activities and works with the Center Director to maintain and expand funding for CFSPH activities. She has led the project to translate the EEDA course and other materials into Spanish for delivery in Latin America.

Lisa Ingalls-HurleyProgram Assistant Mrs. Ingalls-Hurley coordinates all aspects of hospitality and logistical arrangements for large and small meetings, conferences and training programs offered by the Center. She assists the Center with accounting and office support. Mrs. Hurley also handles personnel travel.

Connie Scovin, BAProgram Coordinator Mrs. Scovin coordinates the access of corporations and associations to the books, courses and expertise available through the Center for Food Security and Public Health. She joined the Center in 2011 after many years of experience in corporate marketing, communications and philanthropy. Mrs. Scovin received her BA in Journalism and English from the University of Iowa in 1972.
