Mrs. Buhrow assists the Center Director with all aspects of budgeting, accounting and expenditure of funds. She ensures that all policies and procedures of Iowa State University and funding agencies are met. Mrs. Buhrow also coordinates and manages scientific conferences and international meetings.


Jane Galyon, MS

Mrs. Galyon received her BS in Psychology in 1982 and her MS in Journalism and Mass Communication in 1987 from ISU. She assists in coordinating all aspects of the Center's activities and works with the Center Director to maintain and expand funding for CFSPH activities.


Lisa Ingalls-Hurley

Mrs. Ingalls-Hurley coordinates all aspects of hospitality and logistical arrangements for large and small meetings, conferences and training programs offered by the Center. She assists the Center with accounting and office support. Mrs. Hurley also handles the Director's schedule and personnel travel.

The mission of the CFSPH is to increase national preparedness for accidental or intentional introduction of disease agents that threaten food production or public health.
